Our client is one of the top 60 law firms in the country and we have been working closely with them for 7 years. From their offices across the Southwest we make deliveries across the country to various locations including solicitors, civil and criminal courts.
With an increasing workload our customer was beginning to deal with more high profile legal cases and they were concerned for the security of documents that were being transported for these cases.
Although we already had rigorous security checks and identification processes we explored what else we could do to make our service more secure. We held a series of meetings with this customer to discuss their concerns and requirements, we were then able to design a unique SRJ Sameday vehicle seal. This fully branded SRJ seal means that the load compartment of the vehicle can be sealed using these tamper proof seals once the documents have been placed inside. Once at the destination the recipient of the documents is the person who can break the seal and this noted on our track and trace system.
The extra security that this has added to our vehicles along with the pre-existing CRB checks and company identification that our drivers carry means that our customer is safe in the knowledge that their documents have arrived at their destinations without being tampered with. With the increase in fraud and corruption in the society that we live in we believe that it is important to our customers to have this level of security.
A high profile blue chip client based in the Midlands had been using our services for the last 6 years.
We had been providing them with a direct weekly collection and delivery from Somerset to the Midlands. The delivery consisted of one person handling from collection to delivery for extremely fragile and high value components for the oil industry.
From their base in the Midlands our customer also required collections and deliveries to and from various different locations across the country. They were utilising the resources of several different Sameday Courier Companies to complete these deliveries. This was proving extremely expensive for our customer and the level of service they were receiving was dropping.
After looking closely at their additional requirements we implemented a proposal that meant we could accommodate these additional collections and deliveries and incorporate them with the weekly delivery. We would still be able to offer them the same high standards and quality that we gave them with the regular collection and delivery but we would be able to undertake the additional collections and deliveries at a fraction of the cost that they were paying the other courier companies as we would be integrating them with the existing delivery.
We were able to provide them with one person handling and direct delivery from collection to delivery point and over the course of a year we saved them in excess of £10000.00 on their delivery charges.
We have been providing both on demand and scheduled transport services to a locally based veneer merchant for over 7 years. They imported and exported high quality wood veneer and also supplied companies across the UK. They supply Sunseeker with veneer for their bespoke interiors on their super yachts and were also involved in supplying veneer for the new terminal five building at Heathrow. Our customer required a service that provided them with reassurance that their goods would arrive in pristine condition.
As a way of increasing their sales the company begun to participate in trade and public exhibitions at locations such as The NEC in Birmingham and Earls Court in London. The equipment that was required for these exhibitions was large and heavy but also very fragile and delicate. Our customer required transportation of this equipment without risk of damage or loss.
After assessing the equipment and stands that were required to be transported we were able to provide our customer with a tailor made service specifically for them. We provided them with a dedicated vehicle which had been fitted with specially designed load resistant points so items can be secured easily for transportation. We were also able to provide a driver to assist their team in the handling of the equipment and the assembly of the stand.
Our customer had a fantastic looking stand, attracted a large amount of new custom and was extremely happy with the service that we provide.
